• self confidence is a true key to success. In order to be successful you must have the self-confidence and feel comfortable with what you are doing, you need to feel genuine about it and enjoy it, if you do not enjoy what you do, you will not achieve success. How are you supposed to produce quality material when your confidence is low? Self-confidence is a key to success because:

• confidence will attract bigger deals. avoiding meetings, seminars and conferences could cost you a good project.
  

• Most clients hire because they don't know how to do it themselves, so that's why they need a trust worthy freelancer with a confident attitude to get the job done. If you’re talking with a possible client, showing a lack of confidence encourages them to look at someone else for the project. Having doubts about your work is a normal thing, even the highest paid freelancers have had doubts about their work sometimes, it's completely natural. Many freelancers do have what it takes to become a freelance professional, but fear that they will be rejected or judged. Sadly, this holds them back or even worse, stops them from freelancing altogether.
  
  The good news is though you if you have started your journey as a freelancer you are already confident and you just need to be reminded of that. It takes a lot of guts to leave the workplace, start your own business & be your own boss with no set pay. Just think of the times you were sitting at your last job dreaming of the day you would quit & work for yourself on your own terms. When your self confidence is at an all time low just remember that your unique for that reason.

Re tweeting posts from people who you would like to follow you is a good way to get noticed by them.

Don't spam 
Posting every 30 seconds is annoying and could get you banned. People don't like spammers so please don't post or retweet too often.


Interesting name
If your twitter account is just to keep in contact with people and have fun don't be afraid to give it a funny nickname. If your account is for a company or you would just like to seem professional just use your real name.


Nice profile picture
Something i see all the time is people who want heaps of followers but can't be bothered updating their profiles and atleast adding a nice profile picture.

E bay or amazon- Selling things you don't want or even reselling items such as books is a good way to make some extra money on the side or if your really serious you could earn a full income. I've heard of quite a few people doing this.

Freelancing- Become a freelancer and use your skills to get people to hire you for a webdesign, graphic design,programming an app or even article writing. 

Blogging- Writing about something you have a passion for that delivers the right information and builds an audience with the same interests is a good way to make some extra on the side or even a full income.  if you love to constantly talk tweet or update your Facebook status about fishing then why not start up a fishing blog and make money from it. To do this you should monetize your website with Google ad sense etc.
